Congratulations to Katie!
With more than 15 years of industry experience, Katie leads Dewberry’s industrial water practice. Her subject matter expertise includes water and wastewater treatment, reuse, and regulatory permitting. As a client manager, she works with power and manufacturing clients to implement creative solutions through traditional or design-build project deliveries.
Katie earned a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is a member of the Professional Engineers of North Carolina, the Water Environment Federation, the Society of Women Engineers, the American Water Works Association, and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Katie was recruited by and joined Dewberry in 2009 to initiate the Dewberry wastewater process engineering market introduction. Since then, the business has grown significantly in number of employees and revenue associated with wastewater treatment.
She has performed treatability studies, modeling, operational assessments, concept and detailed designs, and full-scale optimization studies. Katie is currently supporting several major manufacturing clients with expansions of onsite wastewater treatment plants to support large-scale manufacturing. With her team, she continues to build on Dewberry's success through value delivery to the team's customer base.
